TRON Posted September 25, 2015 Report Share Posted September 25, 2015 Two days ago I removed one of the two batteries under the hood. I moved a bunch of the wiring around, nothing to serious. Now because of this, I'm battling alternator whine. I spent about 2 hours yesterday troubleshooting with no luck. Only thing I did not try was putting the second battery back in. My alternator is a Mechman 270A, with 1/0 power and grounds to the battery. Maybe if someone can actually explain what alternator whine is and what typically causes it I can find the issue.
