sking1502 Posted September 30, 2015 Report Share Posted September 30, 2015 hello everyone need help for designing an enclosure for a soundstream splx122hf with a psi recone. due to trunk space limitations I would like to build the 2.50 cube ported enclosure tuned to 40 hertz. they call for (3)3"x14" round ports. can I go with another port design or do I have to stick with the manufacturer's specifications. the fb is 39.85 and the f3 is 34.21 . the recone retains the factory power ratings of 1000w rms and 2000w burst.
