got new subs , looking for amp help

When my girlfriend past away a couple months ago, i was kinda lost but now have found myself wanting to do some upgrades . I picked up a pair of sq HDC3 1Q2'S dual 2 ohm version and i plan on upgrading my current amp . right now i have 2 DD 1512's on a sundown 1500 at 1 ohm . i do have some ele upgrades already - d3400 under the hood and 1 in back , 200 amp alt. skyhigh 1/0 wire and big 3 wire with 1/0 skyhigh also .

I know the 1500 amp is not enough so i can do either another 1500 and strap them or sell the 1500 and do a bigger amp . with the subs ill hav e to run either .5 ohm or 2 ohm . iam guessing with rise i'd be ok running a single amp at .5 ohms . i can do up to 5.5 cf box after port .

with my electrical and these subs what amps will be good for me ? if i sell the 1500 id have about 600.00 to 650.00 to spend on the amp.

Guess ill need to get different subs or upgrade ele. stuff more before i can goto a bigger amp.

That Sundown amp should be strappable... I'd just buy a second one, strap your amps and wire to 2 OHM... That would give you 3K+ @ 2OHM.

It can be strapped . Iam concerned with my electrical on that aswell . When i wire them i get .7 ohm at speaker leads . Iam guessing my options are :

1) Use the 1500d amp at .7 load ( guessing with rise it might be ok )

2) i could get another agm for under the hood and run my two 2 xs 3400's in the back

3) i could get something like a ampere audio 3800 or similar and do # 2 and run it at 2 ohms

4) sell or trade the 2 hdc3's and get subs with 1 ohm load ( or have them reconed , guessing that would get expensive with shipping aswell )

5) run one of the hdc3 on the sundown till i fiqure it out
