bigaudiofanatic Posted October 23, 2015 Report Share Posted October 23, 2015 Last night I installed the P1000X5 into a car running the fallowing. 2 X IDQ 10 D4 Focal Polyglass 6.5's (Front) (Rears not installed yet) Tuned the system using the supplied disk. No issues there. Wired the subs down to two ohms as the manual says it can do under specs sheet. 2 sets of RCA's were used on for fronts one for sub. Ran the focals off the front outputs none bridged. Everything was running great. Was in the final tuning through the head unit, volume was around #16 out of 35 and car was running. All of a sudden silence, amp was off, checked fuse, checked power, checked ground, checked remote. No issues there. Only thing the amp does is flash a quick Amber light and goes off on system startup. Starting to think this was a DOA? Any other ideas of what i can check?
