JL Slash v3 4 channels amps. Overhyped or?

I'm curious if these amps any worth the scratch. I had some slash v1 amps awhile back, and I was not impressed with them. They put out great sound, but the amount of current draw was ridiculous. I like efficiency.

I'd like to see a few get tested on amp test Tuesday. I'd say they are probably under rated however i am just getting into them. Clean power I know that.
