Vice03
When I listen to music at a moderate volume I have an annoying vibration coming from the plastic map light above me. When I press on the clear plastic covering the light, it will stop for a bit, but then starts again. Obviously if I turn up the volume I can't hear it, but sometimes I like to be able to hear what's going on around me or what not Any ideas to fix this without making things look bad? nila1990
Is it just hitting the top of the roof? if so just put some damplifier behind it. If it is just vibrating to around there possible re glue it. or get some automotive tape. its like rubber sorta. they sell it at wallmart. and make a seal out of it and put in behind it. Vice03
I gave the mounting tape a try between the plastic unit and the headliner. It seems to be helping so far. I really thought I would need to deal with the clear plastic but putting this behind everything seems to have done the job for now. Thanks for the idea! nila1990
Yea man it make a seal. Just to keep it good and tight. If all else fails put some spray foam in there. It will not move then.... Lol send some pics of your workings. If you can.
