What's in your bag?

I&C Technician, probably the things that I value most are my Fluke DMM and O-scope, and of course some small tweaker screwdrivers to calibrate stuff <_<

Very nice. Not sure how closely related I&C and I&E are, but I&E is what I went to college for. It's tough to get in the industrial plants when you don't know anyone in my area.

Is I&E Instrumentation and Electrical? I&C is Instrumentation and Controls, the degree I have is an electronics degree. If you have any in your area, I recommend trying to get on at some form of power plant. Most of the time they will have the best benefits and pay.

That's correct.

I'm in Southwest Louisiana. TONS of plants. Fuels, paints, chemicals, electricity, papers, plastics, etc.

I swear I've been trying to get in the industry in my area the last 2 years and I've only got invited to take 2 tests for potential employment. It's the struggle out here.

Ideally, I'd like to get on somewhere that's union so I can get back in school for my journeymen's license.
