2 SQ HDS312S

I had 2 hds312's on a soundqubed 2200 @ 1 ohm. I had an agm under the hood(3400) with an xs d3100 and a kinetik hc2400 in the trunk. voltage always stayed above 13.8. that amp was perfect power for those subs too

EDIT: the 2200 is only like 430 shipped so you'd have plenty of wiggle room for a nice singer or mechman alt.

well, that means you have two choices: wiring at .5 ohms (not recommended and will void warranty) but with a big alt and 1-2 batteries that amp will be fine at .5 daily.

or, you could always strap two 1200s for a 2 ohm nominal. little more expensive, but gives you what you need. have you talked to soundqubed about receiving the wrong subs?

I would recommend this amplifier over the SoundQubed 2200.2:

If I recall correctly, you have D2 subs and you need something at either 2OHM or .5OHM?

If so, I would suggest this:

Then spend the extra money on a strong second battery.
