So originally I picked up a 10" fiberglass sealed enclosure that is designed for my car and purchased the Alpine MRV-M500 amp to use with an Alpine Type E sub, but then I ended up ordering a CT-Sounds 10" Strato V1.0 since it could handle more than the Alpine sub, well turns out they sent me the Strato V2.0 which is rated for 800 watts RMS. The Alpine 1507 is rated for 600 watts x 1 (bridged at 4 ohms at 12 volts) 900x1 watts (bridged at 4-ohms at 14.4 volts) The Alpine M500 is rated for 500 watts x 1 (2-ohm at 14.4 volts) Ok so now I'm in the process of having a slot ported box designed for the Strato V2.0 and trying to decide if I want to just pick up (2) 8" subs and run them on the 1507 or keep the 10" sub and run it off the M500.
