Tub Asko Posted April 20, 2008 Report Posted April 20, 2008 Well, it seems I don't know how to use my headunit . . . blew the damn crossovers off the speakers. haha just bought some cheap pioneers to replace them. I have an Eclipse cd3100. I leave my bass at zero and my "non-fader" at zero. An installer friend at Circuit City tells me non-fader really means subwoofer control. I have a feeling of nubness come over me like a plague of locust over a crop of corn. I've been runnin under the meter with my subs turned all the way down on my damn headunit. He tells me to cut the bass down and the non fader up. that will prevent me from blowing my speakers. I am proud of my 6x9s though. Those pioneer premier d-series take it like a champ! I will get metered again saturday and maybe i'll actually turn the subs up this time! or maybe be proven a nub again? idk Quote Facebook Youtube Murdered '07 Silverado

I did something dumb yesterday too i was swapping out amps and forgot to rewire my subs from 1 ohm to 4 ohm and was running my merlin at 1 ohm bridged Quote you can cook bacon shirtless if you're not a pussy...lol not hatin, but am i wrong here it looks as if the amp is not grounded its hooked directly to the battery. it that the way it should be.
