You'll have to decide how much space you wat to sacrifice and measure it out, then do some calculations. Don't forget to account for amps, batteries, wires etc. as well as wood for your enclosure. Bob Tzimenatos Posted April 10, 2016 Report Share Posted April 10, 2016 I built a box for a 15ZV4rev2D2. 4 cubes net, 68" of port area at around 24" long for a 32hz tune. Powered by a db drive Okur 3500. This sub has the spare tire surround. Hasn't been on the meter yet, but it gets down, for sure. There's a video on FB florida bassheads 772 of this sub playing at 18hz killing it. Owner rolled up to the shop after driving for 45 minutes of decaf at full tilt and the dustcap was too hot to touch. Imo, 3.5-4k at 1ohm is ideal power for this sub, taking box rise into account.
