buff_n3rd Posted April 11, 2016 Report Share Posted April 11, 2016 Just installed a set of components for a buddy in his 2008 F-450 powered with the Alpine pdx-f4. Holy hell these things get loud. I haven't been able to tune yet so this could be the issue but those tweeters are violently sharp. Is it the style of tweeter? Are there other components that are "softer" on the ears. I know this is all preference but I am not sure I could listen to that long periods. He is stoked about how loud it is now but he feels the same way, though doesn't care as much as I would.
