blazingbasshead Posted April 17, 2016 Report Posted April 17, 2016 I just bought a Hifonics Brutus BRX2016.1D 2000 Watt "Super" Class D Mono Block that puts out 1400RMS @ 2Ω, I have my stock 80A Alternator that is connected to my front battery which is a Super Start Premium that has a fused run of 4 Gauge going to my Shuriken BT45 1250 Watt 45 Amp Hour AGM in the back which then feeds into my Amp, will I experience any trouble with this setup?
SkarredSierra Posted April 17, 2016 Report Posted April 17, 2016 Is your 4 gauge ofc? Id upgrade to 0 gauge personnaly. Do the big 3. Your definately going to see low voltage with a stock alt.
blazingbasshead Posted April 17, 2016 Author Report Posted April 17, 2016 Would a 120A Alternator be sufficient for that much draw? I have Sky High Car Audio 4-Gauge, I don't see OFC anywhere on it though...
