Im currently in the process of choosing 4 good 6.5 mids they will be powered by a crescendo s1100/2 for tweeters i think ill be using two ft1 powered by a crescendo s550/2. I cant really decide im looking for some good SQ with mid bass but want them to be loud. For subs thinking of running two sd-3 series haven't decide yet. Not looking to start a vs discussion just opinion on what you guys have used and some feeedback. For budget around $800

Thanks

How low do those ft1 tweeters play? Pretty sure you need to high pass them somewhere around 5khz...that doesn't leave you many options for a mid with good SQ and mid bass.

The majority of your non-pa mids naturally roll off around 2-3khz and unless you have them on axis you won't be able to hear much output in that 3-5k range even if they didn't roll off. If you actually do care about SQ, consider going with different tweeters. If you are set on the ft1s, just go pick some pa mids that you like the price and look of. Probably won't make much difference in the sound and will still get loud as fuck on your power.

Update already ordered the HU a Pioneer DEH-80PRS.

Speakers will be placed on stock location in a Toyota tacoma tweeter will be placed in the door where the 3.5" speaker is placed. On the crescendo page they said ideal crossover frequency will be 4500-6300 im open to suggestion for tweets also witch one you think will do a better job. Im not looking for some spectacular sound quality but decent amount clear voices and good midbass don't want speaker being loud and sound like crap. Looking for some mids came across this: Beyma 6p200nd,6g40nd

Any one has used this speakers that can elaborate its said it have a frequency response from 60-9000Hz with an Fs of 56Hz for the 6p200nd and 70-9000Hz with FS at 88Hz for the 6g40nd?

So far i have come to this if some one can please tell me if im doing things right or bad will be appreciated. For tweeters will try to fit the Beyma CP21/F frequency from 3500 to 20000Hz $120 a piece and for mids dont know if the beyma 6p200Fe will work it seems to have nice midbase dont know about the upper mid range or to go with the 18sound 6nd410 but i think it don't has midbase.
