Beckett Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 hello, i had my sub in the boot of my car, facing towards the roof, now i have made a solid floor where the rear seats use to be. i then put my 3-foot ported box on that with a 12" type-r on that which it is a few inches from the 2 front seats. i was expecting this to be really loud(like it was when you sat in the back seats) but it is pretty much the same i thort, only maybe a little bit louder. i think the front/ dash and all that shakes a bit more tho. i was wondering where the best place is to have the sub. also if i was to put a wall the same height as my sub box behind it with insulation would that kinda make it more powerful up front and all that? cheeeeeeers Beckett JS Fraser *Alpine Typr-R 12" *JBL GTO 1200.1 Sub Amp *Alpine PDX-4.100 *Rockford Fosgate Power 6.5's *Rockford Fosgate Fanatics 6.5's Both in front doors *0/1 Guage wiring from front Junction Boxes to 120AH Battery In Boot (battery removed because too small for alternator) *140 Amp HO Alternator *Alpine Head Unit -------------------------------------------------------------------------x------------------------------------------------------------------------------
