Sleezyk
I got one of those can 1600.1s and one of the transformers didnt have the silicone holding it in place from vibration breaking the solder joints... also alot of the componits seemed unsecured... so I used hot glue to hold everything in place...felt really nice a solid..and i think hot glue goes to like 250f before it melts and I dont thibk the transformer gets very hot... also used a little caulk on top of it like the original had.... Question is.....is hot glue okay to use?? Do not want to interfere with the transformer doing its job correctly...didnt know if adding glue betqeen the winding would mess up the magnetics....
