Brad Majors Posted August 10, 2016 Report Share Posted August 10, 2016 Okay guys I have had for the last 6 months a pair fo SQ HDS3 12s in a box that was designed by JoeX and LOVED it. I recently decided to start looking for something else and had my subs for sale and had a local guy offer me his 2 Sundown SA 15s straight across. I am meeting him tomorrow for the trade. He has the subs in some shit superbass probox so I know im going to get rid of that and build a custom box for it so Im here again looking for ideas. I have up to 40w X like 26d X ( hoping to stay under 18h ( for stock class bracket ) if not possible on height i understand and not that big of a deal. this is the box i have now and dont know if i should stay with a design such as this ( i know i want sub up port back ) with the slot port center or if i should do a lot port along the bottom.I am wanting to tune to 30ish hz as well.
