ludeman Posted October 14, 2016 Report Share Posted October 14, 2016 I have a 2012 GC I wired mine from the battery, it will be enough room to run the power cable along side the factory cable out of the battry compartment then to the rear under the panels on the passenger side. If you don't have the adjustable suspension, under the drivers seat is another compartment that will be perfect for a D5100.
