Onelowgreek Posted December 13, 2016 Report Posted December 13, 2016 If I was in your shoes i would upgrade the alt/electrical before attempting to run that amp, i just recently picked up a 1.8k watt amp but not going to run it until I get my ho alt and 1/0 OFC wiring installed I've ran 2500 watts on a factory 160 amp alternator in the past and my alt/batteries were struggling to keep up Not knocking you but you wouldn't want to potentially damage the amp or strain your stock electrical just my .02
