sp4 leads

I just recently bought another sp4 i was hoping you guys could help me answer a few questions. My old sp4 has the foad large single wire lead with bolt and nut connections and regular dust cap my new sp4 has spring loaded and stitched leads with a carbon fiber cap. Which setup is better? Also would you recommend running both in the same enclosure or will i have problems? I did look at the fi website and the recones look like they are for foad only so i am not sure why they are making a stitched sp4? Tell me what you guys think I'd like to hear
