Hello I'm starting my build in my 08 chevy impala it will consist of 2 Rockford fosgate t1500bd, fosgate 600-4,and 2 D.C. Lvl 412s d2s I'm adding 2 deka 9a31s in the trunk what size alt will be ideal for this ? Thanks in advance.

Going to go by max ratings these amps would probably put out @ 1ohm.

3500W TOTAL = 3500/14= 250A @14V, that's a fuckton of power, BUT that's also assuming 100% efficiency from the amplifiers, which is a wet dream we all like to have.

So, I'd recommend a 220A alternator, as the current draw wouldn't be continuous. However, a 360A would mean you'd never push the alt to it's max, plus you'd also be getting the best voltage out of it. If I were you, I'd get a 360A just as a slight overkill. I know other companies make wider ranges, but Mechman or Singer is who I recommend due to time proven performance from both companies.

Anyways, as far as batteries go, make sure they are ALL AGM, NO LED ACID. Seriously, fuck led acid for car audio, everyone knows it doesn't do well for anything other than cutting costs.

My battery recommendations: Optima Yellow Top for the STARTING BATTERY, or if you wanna spent the extra cash, just do an XS Power D3400. Then in the rear, do 2 more D3400's (estimating 2000W in the system per battery, to keep things safe for voltage). If you did 360A and 3 D3400's, you'd practically never see voltage drop that would effect your system that badly, if any real voltage drop at all.

TL;DR, read this shit you lazy fuck.

Thanks for your advice really appreciate it I'm going to measure and see what's the biggest I can fit up front cause the angle and space is very limited

Your battery is a BCI Group 34 size. That's not a small size, so guess what the D3400 battery is... a BCI Group 34. Yeah it'll fit. If you wanna check, just measure the old battery you have and make sure not to short the damn thing, but if the measurements check out, then have fun.

One more question I got a quote from singer and he gave me two different prices between and denso and another one what's a denso ?

Denso is a brand. Get the denso, I know it's probably more expensive than ACDelco, but Denso is a fucking great company, plus on most of their shit they have a lifetime warranty, so free alternators for life my dude. They also regulate a little higher than stock, 14.7-15.1 volts, which is great for pushing more wattage out of your amplifiers.

I recommend Denso, but if he gave you something other than ACDelco, what brand did he offer? If it's ACDelco though, get the Denso and love the thing like a baby.

It was actually cheaper for the denso but the other option just listed a larger case and higher price but I was thinking denso was same size as stock guess I might be wrong lol

Wait a sec, what was the other option? Larger case = more coil windings on the alternator usually. If that's what it is, the larger case alt can probably hold it's own a little better. Who makes the larger cased alt? If it's a reputable brand, I might say go with that one, but I know Denso for sure is a good brand.

Didn't post the other brand but it's all from singer. But the other case pretty much had a higher idle output but the denso option was 275a and 175a idle for under 500

Yeah that'll do you just fine, the denso will fit in the stock mounting spot no problem. Just make sure to use OFC cable, don't be a fuckboy and use some shitty 30$ CCA crap 0 gauge kit. Get a quality one from Sky High or Rockford Fosgate and you'll do yourself a favor.
