65Barneybug Posted December 29, 2016 Report Posted December 29, 2016 New to forum and have not built a box since early 90's but now my kids are bigger and i have a car all to myself. So designing a box for my 97 civic was going to do what i had before which i belive was a 5th order (hit solid and low). But was also thinking slot port. Either way my problem is i have 2- 12" RF P3's older versions and not much trunk space and i listen to every type of music. Usable trunk space 15.625H x 35.5"W x 15.75"D MAX. So what would be best box. Any help is welcome.
65Barneybug Posted January 2, 2017 Author Report Posted January 2, 2017 Decided on a slot port ( figuered if it doesn't sound right easy to convert to 5th order) now need to get proper design. Box dimensions 36wx15.625hx17d. Not sure how wide the slot should be appears the smaller the lower it will be tuned. , not sure tho. Looking at about 34HZ i figured approximately. 3.875w x 21.25L. Any suggestions will be appropriated
