Wiring help needed 2 Amps into 1 sub

Hey guys I'm after a bit of help, I'm about to pick up a DD Le-m10, as I want to try and gain some useable boot space and get away from the 2 alpine type s's i currently have, my current amp is a alpine MRD-M605, if I was to get a 2nd MRD-M605 use one per voicecoil would that work? The MRD-M605 doesn't have a master/slave output/input but does have digital gain so setting it would be fine, and the DD sub is dual 2ohm voicecoils. Would it be overkill for the sub? Its rated at 250/500 but I've seen them take a lot more. Any help would be really appreciated cheers
