AndyzSB23 Posted September 9, 2017 Report Posted September 9, 2017 I just recently picked up a JL 10w7 AE for a steal and was wondering about a ported enclosure sizes. JL recommends 1.5 ft^3 with some examples but they don't account for the different displacements, should I stick with their recommended 1.5 but calculate the displacements or do they actually like more airspace. If it's better to just stick with what JL recommends I will I just want to hit as hard as I can. I am running it off a Alpine mrx m100 which is 1000watts at 2ohms so it should be around the 750watts at 3ohms.
