kentb
omg im so stupid. so my stock alternator died and i ordered an iraggi alt. i measured my batt voltage before i put in my new alternator. it measured 12.2v then i connect my alternator and the big three and stuff. all is good when i started my engine and the voltage was 14.15(engine on) or something like that. so i thought everything was working alright.. but my battery light indicator light was still on. so i though i should go for a ride somewhere. i drove for like 30 mins when i was closing the windows my light was dimming, then my battery died. my car wouldn't start again.... do you think i just need to replace my battery and everything will be alright? i hope my iraggi alt wasn't damaged im so stupid i didn't read the instructions on the iraggi manual carefully. it said that the battery must read 12.75+ when the engine is off. god damn.. missinglink
I don't think that would kill the alt that fast. I would try a new battery or put it on a charger overnight.
