Notoriousaz Posted September 14, 2018 Report Posted September 14, 2018 New to the forum! New to building a ported enclosure but have built many sealed enclosures. Recently acquired 4 old school fosgate punch hx2 10s and a bd1500 id like to build an enclosure for. 2003 Denali xl, would like to retain 3rd row seat and still keep some storage space in hatch area. After digging around I came across RE audios box calculator/designer. I plugged in the dimensions of the space I’d like to use, and got it to 30hz. Does this seem like an acceptable set up for these old woofers? I feel like it needs some bracing in there too which isn’t accounted for in the drawing. Air space seems on point for what fosgate recommended for these woofers, maybe smaller than ideal? Tech sheet says .75-1.75 cubic feet each For vented. Would u change anything? Any issues w running port on the side as in drawing - or would there be any issues moving it to the center? Again im new to ported enclosures, any suggestions, help, criticism etc is appreciated!
