Experience with Zapco ST-4X DSP?

Hey guys just curious if anyone has any experience with the Zapco ST-4X DSP amp? I'm considering it for my build and was wondering if it was a good buy or not. Thanks!

I signed up to this forum (finally) JUST to reply to you.

 

I had the Zapco ST-6X DSP amp for a short while.  It had a TON of issue...

-No gain control
-DSP causes random "static" sound once in a while, must power cycle to rid of
-Output channel send signal ~2 seconds before amp output signal
-Turn on thump on output of output channel
-Firmware update is a terrible process and fixed nothing
-After several days, customer service from Zapco has yet to contact me on the issues.

 

I ended up sending it back and getting the ST-6X SQ and putting the $100 saved towards a MiniDSP.  I don't know of the 4X DSP is in the same boat, but be warned on my experience.
