Little advice on my first aeroport

I got everything all button up now had a grounding issue ( old post I made ) but now after enjoying it I want to try an aero port box so I can downsize the box so there would be a little more room in my back seat.

The box should be 1.65 cubic feet with subwoofer in and I have 4in aeroport for it.

Now I can't really decide best spot for the port, on the side like my drawing in the picture or on the front with the sub. Which do you think is best, I'm going to try to keep it 4 inches away from the walls too.

Forgot to mention I'm probably going to try an have the port about 12 inches or longer so it can stick out of the box however long
