LORDBUTZ
I've got an 89 prelude which uses the same alternator a 93 accord. Jsalternators had a 93 accord alt. in their catalog so i figured I'd order from them. Weeeeellllll that turned out to be a mistake. I have it wired as such: L wire going to the dash warning light IG going to ignition S to positive alternator terminal. The problem is that then i blip the throttle, the voltage is going very high. the highest I've seen is 17.19v Whomever I'm emailing at JS keeps telling me i have it wired wrong. I've tried connecting the S weird to the alternator post, my car's original sense wire and the battery which is located in the trunk. All positions resulted in high voltage. Am i doing something wrong or is the voltage regulator bad?
