Tuning Box.. where to start?

Is it ok to build a box below the “recommended tuning frequency”? I have 2 Skar SVR 8’s and I would like to build a ported box tuned to mid 30’s range (35 hz). Here are the specs to the sub, what would I need to accomplish that goal, or can I even hit that with these subs? Lol. Appreciate the help guys

I'm not a pro but I built a few boxes back in the day. That being said, I think you will lose quite a bit of sq if you try to take those subs way out of their sweet spot. You can usually "trick" subs 10hz either way, but your asking for 20+ hz. Can you do it? Absolutely. Will it sound good? Maybe but unlikely. I would tune for 40hz max on the low side. Hopefully someone way more knowledgeable than me will be along to give you a different answer.
