How do you figure out the size of a slot port I have the square inch which 89.0 if it is 3 inches do I make it 3x11x8?

I'm kinda new to box design, I am trying to figure out the dimensions of a slot port. It has to be 89 square inches. If I make it 3 inches x 8 inches x 11.25 is that the correct size for 89 square inches?
