AudioControl LC2i installation

Recommended Posts

So I am planning on installing an AudioControl LC2i in my 2014 Focus Titanium hatchback so that I can keep my stereo and features (for now) and go ahead and use my sub. I have a custom box for my alpine 10 and the amp and capacitor are mounted to the box and it is a very clean set up, but I wrecked the previous car and now have the whole thing ready to be reinstalled. I was curious if I could also install the new audio control output converter for my RCAs also on the box beside the amp and capacitor. Also, for the output converter, I considered tapping into the wires leading to the little subwoofer that’s part of the sony sound system in the back of the car. Here are my questions: is tapping into the speaker wires for the subwoofer a bad idea ? Should I use a door speaker instead ? Is it all the same signal to each speaker, or is a door speaker the best option ?
