Guest Posted May 24, 2008 Report Share Posted May 24, 2008 (edited) the only thing's Ohm's do is limit the current going to the sub. example: a 1 ohm sub pushed by a 1000w amp will get the full 1000w. a 2 ohm sub with same amp will get a fraction of the power from the amp. a 4 ohm sub with same amp will get even less power from the amp. basically, the higher the ohm rating on the sub, the less power it will get from the amp Edited May 24, 2008 by Krannyman92 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
