d2freak82
I bought some DD mids - they're pro audio but I plan to use in my truck vo-mn6.5 they're rated 60-300w not sure if that's per speaker or for the pair, if for the pair... would make my life much easier. I have a mb quart dsc 480 amp, rated 4x80@4ohm. My first thought was to use Y adapter to use 2 channels to bridge each speaker into 2ohm to get the 300watts. If that rating is for the pair it would be overkill by a landslide. I'm curious if that configuration will work or if I should just use 2 channels for the mids, and go ahead and and connect tweeters to the other 2 instead of using all 4 for the mids. (also got DD tweeters, soft dome - a series similar power requirements) any thoughts on the matter would be appreciated.
