MarcoPT Posted January 10, 2025 Report Posted January 10, 2025 Hi there i have a mercedes e class w211 and just got the B2 audio rage 63, my first 3 way, i know the "ideal" sport for mids and high is A pilar, but im trying to do a "OEM" type instal, how bad/good would they work if mount them like this? never listened to B2 speakers hope they sound good, i pick them cuz they seem like nice 3 way and very small mid so its easy to find a spot for it, and with X-mas discount they come at a very good value. first i was thinking about mid on OEM tweeter spot and tweeter on A pilar, but the mid seems like a bit a bit out of place up there, and by the door handle its seems like it belongs you know... im kind of a basshead but only bass part, speakers and amps the SQ part in me comes out on top so i try to have as much "SQ" as i can, so when i want bass i have will have it (deafbonce DB3012r) but when i want a SQ listening day i think that by lowering the sub to SQ i can have a perty nice SQ so best of both worlds i guess. (and SQ guys dont be mad cuz of the bass i know the sub has nothing of sq)
