jivrelle Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 ok,ok ,i'am not from usa but i visit time to time.the biggest thing i have noticed is ,your mid range and hights are not that loud......................where i'am from we use a combination of car audio mids + dj speakers(mids like ,rcf,bnc,18sound).yes we do the spl and db drag, but most of the people in trinidad like what you call groundpounders!the only difference ,is components etc are not loud as we want it,so we use dj stuff.i mean it would take about 8 rf components to be as loud as 2 10'' 18sound.in trinidad we have a competition called "crowd pleaser" where we have different categories, like 12'',15'',2 15'' etc(the crowd picks who is the loudest)and an eg of a car that will enter 2 15'' category is( 2 15'' 9500dd's 2 soundstream xxx65000,6 10'' rcf 720yk and 4 rcf n850 drivers and about 4 u.s. amp's ,if you know about dj speakers you konw how loud that woud be ......................................my question is why this is not a big thing in the usa???? http://www.trinibass.blogspot.com/
