deafyT Posted June 12, 2008 Report Share Posted June 12, 2008 aside from fuel consumption, birch = so much easier to handle. it's nice being able to load a box for 2 18"s by yourself. Plus the smell is nice. as far as the baltic only coming in 5x5 sheets -- your lumber supply store sucks. i've seen baltic come in lengths > 10'. Then again, those sheets are about $200 each.
