jhmeg2 Posted August 9, 2008 Report Share Posted August 9, 2008 when i first started installing, my buddy told me to put a diode inline with the remote line if i ever had turn on pop, I didn't and its a good thing... After i told him to order my DD5, he asked if I tried the diode. I say no. He said thats good it would have just started to melt the remote line and smoke a lot... what an asshole.
