Bigdaddy_23 Posted September 16, 2008 Report Share Posted September 16, 2008 I have a 2004 Saab 9-3 convertible that I am about to upgrade the sound system, because the factory sucks. I already a JL Audio 450/4 and a JL Audio 500/1, I am now looking for speakers and woofers. I need to replace 3 3.5" speakers in the front and 6.5" speakers in the doors and back panels. My goal is go all one brand and install 4 8" subs in a downfiring box (box can't be anymore than 10" tall for the convertible to continue to work. The problem I am running into is to find some 3.5" speakers that can handle to power coming off the rear channels of the 450/4. Does anyone have any suggestions? Also are there any sites that I can go to in order to get my box built for a reasonable price? I could do it myself, but my table saw is busted and really do not have the time to build the box. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh yeah, this is my wife's car and she does not want components installed because she does not want added holes to the panels, so I am looking for coaxials.
