Toxiccasper Posted October 4, 2008 Report Posted October 4, 2008 Well I got sick of the stock old system in the car so today I decided I would change that first thing to find a place to put 2 tweeters well since my car is gay there was no real good place to put them so, seeing as how I dont smoke the ashtray was removed. Here is the board cut out and ready Well since I didnt have any blue paint to match the interior I just went with black carpet instead since I have a bunch just laying around may not look the greatest but better than nothing Well after getting that none it was louder and sounded better but now I need to build a center console so the sound can bounce off of it and back to me. Tried it with just holding a piece of wood below them and its much much louder and cleaner so now I off to do more work Quote

Decided to use this old as 12 inch rockford 8 ohms FTW. And since I dont feel like making a box I had a Q-logic "ported" box I had laying around I picked up from some kid for free so I slapped the sub in there and plugged the 1 inch "port" with a towel and here ya have it bass in the trunk Quote
