a_steezy
i need to figure out a place to secure the sucker down... in my sig there's a picture of my sub/box in the car, and i usually just lay the amp to the right of the box in the little space free floating lately i've had alot of friends and heard tons of stories of there stuff getting stolen, one kid only had subs taken and they left the amp cause it was screwed into the back of his seats and they couldn't get it off i was thinking of doing that but my amp's a little over 20" i believe, then with the 1/0 gauge leading in i need probably 22" and my seats are only 20" so i was going to put a piece of some left over mdf on the back of my passenger side, and middle rear seats holding them together and put the amp on the wood then hope the amp would fit in th wedge without being touched by the sub... don't fit i was wondering how it would be to screw the amp into the box... my other idea would be to drill it into the floor infront of the box by the little handle popping up any suggestions??? Lucas702
Well if it was going to be secured to the box, they could just take it all at once, easier for them. That is a heavy box to start with so they might not try yours. What I would do though, is get a whole bunch of the screws with the head torx type with the circle in the center and secure it down. Nobody will think to have one of those screwdrivers with them when they go to steal your shit.

Got_Bass89
I donno bout velcro... Whats under the box? Is that yor 3rd row of seat? I'd screw the amp to back of box with secure screws(the wiered heads) And then pop your sub out and screw your box down to the bottom on the inside... Nobody getting that... Would take hella days... lunari
You could always attach it to your rear seats, or as you mentioned, in front of the box. Either way, if theft is a problem in your area use hex or torx screws (or both!) to attach it. Thankfully, as it's an amp hopefully they can't do too much damage to it in anger if they can't steal it. Also, I would recommend using the hex/torx screws for the mounting of your sub and along with L brackets to attach the box to the floor of your vehicle. Lunari Quote Getting loud on a budget. Got_Bass89
Whats wrong with screwing box to back of seat? Same thing as amp... Take the screws out you wont even see the little holes cuz its carpet... If your thinkin about a compartment for the amp make sure you got lots of fans... Don't wanna get to hot and fry it..
