DUBIE Posted November 18, 2008 Report Share Posted November 18, 2008 alright but wouldnt wiring it at 8 ohms cut the power to like half. and i was gonna get a 1000 watt mono autotek amp but the wire terminals are way to small. well yea wiring it at 8ohms it will cut the power..so it will give half power to one woofer and half to the other...or you could just wire 1 woofer brigded to get all the maximum power out for just 1 woofer.. DUBIE Posted November 18, 2008 Report Share Posted November 18, 2008 well isnt a power cap to give more voltage and so the battery wont drain as quick? a cap is to maintain the voltage..it wont suck that much juice from the battery...and about the battery it aint gonna drain beacuse thats why you wire it to the front battery..(+)from front battery to (+)from back battery...and wire the ground from back battery to chassis...
