Alpine Headunit Problems

I recently bought a new Alpine iDA-X300 and turned it up at high volumes and my amps would not turn off. I took it out and put back in my Alpine CDA 7876 and at high volumes the amps will turn off and I have to turn off/on the headunit to turn the amps back on.

So what can be wrong with my CDA 7876 to make the amps turn off because the X300 doesn't have that problem?
