myvian
Hi guys. I have a hard suspension subwoofer... i believe this type is more towards SPL right? Can the suspension be changed to soft type?
Forevrbumpn
there is more to a sq woofer than just a soft suspension, like motor design, coil being used with the motor, cone style, and weight, I can think of about 10 different aspects that count, and thats not including T/S parameters. Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
kryptonitewhite
headed in the right direction... nice to see... I see lower power handling as lower power requirement, Vd=SPL Hz for Hz... so if it takes 3,000 watts at 45Hz to get the same cone to same excursion as the other sub that takes 800 watts, SPL should be the same.
