Precision Ports Vs. Slot Port

I dont know much about precision ports and wanted to know some of the pros and cons to a slot port

i'm doing two 18" dc lvl 4's in about 15ft^3 before displacement and want to tune it to right around 36hz sub up port back

i've heard the pvc ports sound a little cleaner but i really dont know much

my first two boxes i made were areo ports. loved them sounded really clean. my current box thas a slot port. i dont' think it sounds as good. so here in a few months i'm making a new box with 6 4" areo's. you'll love them if you get them IMO
