NoFearX18 Posted December 23, 2008 Report Posted December 23, 2008 I am trying to install my soor speakers but am having zero luck. it like -4 outside with the wind chill and i cant find out how to get the door panel off. I have a 2000 GMC Jimmy 2 door. i didnt really yank anything too hard because i dont want anything to snap off or break. anyone swapped the speakers out on one? i just need some tips so i dont break anything lol. 00sdime00 Posted December 23, 2008 Report Posted December 23, 2008 There is one phillips head screw in the "cup" under the door handle. There are two 7mm bolts/screws under the grab area of the arm rest. The only thing holding the door panel on after that are plastic clips....take care of those and lift the panel up and off.
