slvrcelicagt
so im guessing the companies put a max rating 3 or more times the rms rating jus to make the speakers look better than they are? i hate wen i c a "300w" speaker and its rms is like 75w or so
BigOso
Basically many companies print the max power rating in big bold letters to try to lure the uneducated individuals into buying the products. Most people who know better actually look for RMS but the everage "noob" doesn't know the diffrence.
