cookiemonster
Want to buy a High Output alternator that will fit an '89 Civic or '90 CRX. Should be the same? Also looking for a 2nd alternator and/or custom bracket made to replace the AC compressor. cookiemonster
It will be for SPL until SBN and then a daily driver for Bass Race and Bass Boxing Quote 1989 Honda Civic 1990 Honda Crx Refs: Sundownz, Derrick824, QCguy
sactownstang
I would not bother with the 2nd alt. It's possible but not best idea belts can only hold about 160A just get 1 regular 160A alt is my advice. The Crx computer controls the alt big time so thats another issue. what kinda spl? db drag? cookiemonster
I compete in all types of orgs. Drag, Iasca, Meca, and several local orgs. I really want a 2nd alt with external regulator to charge my 16v batteries without having to mess with the stock charging system. Not a problem right now since I'm doing spl only. However, after Iasca Finals/SBN I will be going back to Bass Race/Bass Boxing. Also, I have a lot more room where the AC was than where the stock little alt is.
