Box For Lvl 4 18s

Recommended Posts

what you wanna do is if possible clamp your pieces together with the glue and while the glue is setting up pre-drill your holes for you screws then screw in your screws and take off your clamps and move on to the next piece...

countersink is this little drill bit and it's not a necessity but if you were going to round off all your corners on the outside you'd have to do it unless you plan on wrapping the box in carpet or just leaving it bare wood

personally i would just paint the port and vinyl the outside.. i wouldn't put vinyl inside the port if that is what your talking about doing.

as far as internal bracing goes i'm pretty sure the double baffle would be plenty but like i said add 45's to the corners and i think you'll be good.. it'll be a strong box no doubt and it's tuned between 32-33hz so it'll get pretty low just add pictures when you build it! i would like to see my creation someday

cool deal and back to your sub up port back i'd just go with the drawing.. either way i think it'll sound about the same.. there might be a different but sub back and port back is already drawn and it'd be the easiest to build so i'd go with that
