Chode69 Posted February 8, 2009 Report Share Posted February 8, 2009 well i just sold my 4 wheeler (88 suzuki 230R) for a stack (1000 dollars to you non-gangeters) ive had it since i was like 12 and im now 20 i paid $1350 for it...drove the fuck outta it for about 8 years and sold it for $1000 so i think i made out pretty good... now i cant live wout my 4 wheeler so i NEED to get another one...sheould i put that towards a down payment of a new wheeler or buy an alt?? I had to tow out a friends expedition with it with a Warn 2000lb winch. My friends mouth bout dropped to the floor when I pulled him out lol. It's slow though. It's top is like 45 so it's geared REALLY low. Umm... I like Yamaha & Arctic Cat. Honda is just too far behind in technology for my tastes. But, the new Grizzly 550 or 700 is BAD ASS. Check out HighLifter.com. The BEST ATV site. Bust mostly all those people are mud riders & so on. raytard Posted February 8, 2009 Report Share Posted February 8, 2009 My cousin has a 400ex raced out, i shit myself on that, its dumb fast, and still small enough to throw around a bit, I loved it. I hate to make comparisons because I dont ride much, but it kept up with a raptor 660 on the streets and chased a banshee through the woods. the raptor is something else though, but every time i've ridden one offroad I felt like i couldnt like push it, it was too fast and powerful, and riding at the limits is half the fun. They are to big imo. But if I had $1,000 I would filp somthing and get both atv and alt.
